Dr. Flo
Every technology decision is a relationship decision.
Bring in the technology. Keep the human.
I'm Dr. Flo. I help healthcare teams use AI in a way that makes care warmer, not colder.
Let's name something first.
New tools show up in clinics almost every week. Many of them help. But here is the tricky part: it is easy to add technology and slowly lose the human connection that made care work in the first place. That is my personal opinion, built from years spent beside physicians, nurses, and care teams. When the screen gets more attention than the person, something important slips.
Here's the good news.
Technology does not have to pull us apart. Used well, it can give you back time — time you can spend looking a patient in the eye. That is the whole idea behind Humanly AI. We start with the relationship, then fit the tools around it. Kind of like arranging a room so people can actually talk to each other.
What I help with.
AI integration consulting and training. I work with healthcare teams and organizations to bring in AI in a way that strengthens the provider–patient relationship. This happens through associations, continuing education, and direct work with your team.
Research and validation, with Upside. Through Upside Health Research Network, we act as an independent research partner — for example, checking behavioral-health AI for bias and fairness. We always keep the right to publish what we find.
Speaking. Invite Dr. Flo to speak. I love a warm room and a good conversation about the future of care. Three talks I give most often: Connection as a vital sign, Bringing AI into a care setting, and Social support is medicine.
Ways to work together.
Every team is in a different place, so we start with a conversation rather than a price list. Tell me what you are working with — your size, your setup, and what is on your mind — and I will put together something that fits, whether that is a single talk, a training series, or ongoing guidance as you bring new tools in.
Why this matters to me.
I have spent much of my life paying attention to relationships. It is almost a sixth sense. Wherever I go — including time spent in places like Italy, Peru, and Argentina — what stays with me is the people, and the way they care for one another.
That is the seed of Humanly AI: bringing that relationship-first lens to a healthcare world that is moving fast on technology.
Ready to talk?
If any of this sounds like your team, let's find a time. I would love to hear what you are working on.
