Learning that keeps people at the center.
Practical training on relationships, health, and the world your clients are actually living in.
What's coming up.
We keep our calendar small on purpose. We would rather run a few good sessions than a lot of forgettable ones.

What Your Clients Already Know About AI:
Assessing and Responding to Client Use of Generative AI in Counseling Practice
Nearly one in five young people now turn to an AI chatbot when they feel sad, angry, nervous, or stressed. Most of them have told no one — not a parent, not a friend, and not the counselor sitting across from them.
This is not an hour about whether AI belongs in therapy. It is already in the room. The question is whether you know about it.
We will look at what your clients are actually using, what it does to the counseling relationship, and how to ask about it in a way that invites an honest answer instead of a defensive one. You will leave with a resource packet you can open the next morning.

Where we've trained.
Our work is already in the room with clinicians and care teams. Here is a recent example.
The Impact of AI Bias on Clinical Populations: Implications for MFT Practice
A live webinar for the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) in February 2026, worth 1.5 continuing education credit hours. Dr. Florence Lewis and Dr. Niecie Jones led a national audience of Marriage and Family Therapists through how bias shows up in AI tools, the real risks for adolescents, marginalized communities, and families, and what all of it means for diagnosis, treatment planning, and the therapeutic relationship. Clinicians left ready to advocate for AI that is fair, transparent, and relationally informed.
66 clinicians attended and rated the session 5.8 out of 6.
Excellent and packed with information to begin navigating the complex and swiftly changing world of AI as it impacts our clients.

What our trainings cover.
Our training comes out of the same place as our research: relationships shape health. So that is where we start.
We work with healthcare organizations, clinicians, and researchers — the people and teams who shape what care feels like day to day.
We look at how relationships affect real health outcomes, and what that means for the person sitting in front of you. We talk about what your clients are carrying right now — the pace of modern life, feeling alone in a crowded world, screens in every room, and the pull of new technology on our attention. Then we get practical. You leave with something you can use.
Care that fits real people.
Relationships are human, so they are everywhere — and they do not look the same everywhere. Family means one thing in one community and something else a few miles away. Respect is shown in different ways. Silence can mean different things.
We build that into every training. We ask who is in the room, whose story is missing, and what a practice would look like if it truly fit the people it serves. Time spent in other countries has shaped how we see this. Watching how people care for one another in different places is a good teacher.
This is not an add-on module at the end. It runs through the whole thing.
Want this for your organization?
We build trainings for healthcare organizations, clinical teams, and research groups — clinics, agencies, associations, and the people who lead them. Tell us who you serve and what you are running into, and we will shape something that fits.
